Follow-up
Hi,
If my previous post didn't help, could you post the following info for me:
Go to Control Panel->System->Device Manager->Human Interface Devices. What do you see in the list of devices? If there is an entry for "HID-Compliant Device", right click it and select Properties. Then under the Details tab, the device instance ID should be listed. It looks like HID\VID_XXXX&PID_XXXX\...
What numbers are listed under the XXXX's?
If you don't see HID-compliant device, what do you see?
See also my post concerning IE7- it may simply be a problem at the web browser end.
Some questions
Hi,
When you run the service, can you see it by browsing the service directory? (http://localhost:50000/directory).
When the service starts for the first time, does the missile launcher run an initial self-calibration? Try removing any initial state partner xml files (usually named vi_missilelauncher.config.xml) and restarting the service.
Do you see any errors in the terminal window or in the debug message log (http://localhost:50000/console/output)?
I will try it out myself with VPL today and post back here shortly.
